Invisalign® Braces – A Very Effective Solution
Thanks to advancements in technology and an ever-changing dental industry, Invisalign® has come to the forefront as a very popular and attractive teeth straightening option.
With global recognition as well as celebrity users such as Oprah Winfrey, Justin Bieber, Serena Williams and Tom Cruise standing behind the brand, it’s no surprise that Invisalign® has risen to fame.
However, since popularity alone doesn’t promise an effective solution for you, it’s helpful to explore the benefits of Invisalign®, the treatment process and costs as well as what your teeth could look like post-treatment.
That’s why today we’re exploring those areas to ensure you understand all there is to know about the teeth-straightening solution that is Invisalign®.
When it comes to Invisalign®, you may be asking yourself, does Invisalign® work? Well, the good news is, Invisalign® is an effective way to straighten teeth and thus, does work. Plus, there are millions of past success stories around the globe to prove so.
So, what does the treatment journey look like with Invisalign® that makes it such an effective teeth-straightening solution? Whilst there are multiple other dental practices around that also provide Invisalign®, at The Dental Room we have a specific process that we follow.
Here is a look at our process for providing Invisalign® treatment.
- We begin with a complimentary Invisalign® consultation
Here we will:
- Discuss your current concerns
- Discuss different treatment options, including if Invisalign® will work for you and your situation
- We will take a 3D digital scan of your teeth and their current positioning
- We will examine your teeth in more detail, and we will provide you with a preview of what your teeth could look like after Invisalign® treatment.
- Personalised treatment plan
Following your 3D digital scan and initial consultation, we will put together a highly personalised treatment plan for you that will help you achieve your ideal smile. At this time, we will also discuss your anticipated treatment time as well as the cost involved.
- Your aligners are customised for you
Your aligners will be custom made for you in the largest, most advanced mass customisation process in the world, employing advanced technology and science.
- Your first aligners are ready!
After about 2 weeks your first set of aligners will be ready for you! We will provide you with three aligners at a time. Then every month, we will get you to come in again so we can review your teeth and give you your next three aligners.
- Complimentary Teeth Whitening
Once your Invisalign® treatment is complete, we’ll whiten your teeth! Teeth whitening is complimentary in the package at The Dental Room, and is included.
Finally, you will have customised retainers created to take home with you to ensure your teeth remain straight after your Invisalign® treatment concludes.
Disclaimer: Complementary Invisalign® assessments are provided for clients who are interested in learning more about Invisalign® treatment options. Booking is essential. Treatment results may vary between individuals. Any dental procedure carries risks and benefits that should be considered carefully.
How much will my Invisalign® treatment cost?
The cost will vary depending on your unique situation. Let’s explore what Dr. Rama from The Dental Room has to say as he dives further into the details of Invisalign® costs in Australia:
“No two mouths are the same and the number of aligners required will be different; so the Invisalign® cost will vary from person to person,” Dr Rama explains.
“The difference between the various packages is essentially the number of aligners that are required to correct your teeth. If your teeth are more crowded, you will most likely require more aligners and a longer treatment period. In this case, the Moderate or Comprehensive Plans would be recommended whilst the Express Plan is used for very minor corrections.”

Advantages of Invisalign®?
Curious to find out why Invisalign® treatment is becoming so popular? Well, here’s some of the benefits that Invisalign® offers to answer that very question!
- Invisible Appearance
Compared to traditional braces, Invisalign® and their clear aligners are completely invisible. This allows a much greater peace of mind, especially for those patients looking for a subtle aesthetic.
Unlike traditional metal braces, clear aligners are made from a soft smooth plastic and thus, are without sharp or extruding edges. Invisalign® and their aligners are custom made to fit your teeth and mouth for extra comfort.
- Improved Cleanliness
Invisalign® aligners are easy to take off when it’s time to either brush your teeth, floss or eat food. They’re also super smooth to pop back in again. The aligners themselves can also be cleaned. To make sure there is no build up, users simply need to remove the aligners and rinse or brush them with a toothbrush.
- Safe and Removable
Whilst metal braces can break and snap, posing unnecessary discomfort and complications, clear aligners focus on security and comfortability. The clear aligners are also removable which makes everyday life more convenient.
- Beautifully Straight Teeth
Last but not least, clear aligners have been proven to effectively deliver countless clients with their ideal smile. It could be said that the results speak for themselves.
Founded by Dr Shawn Rama who specialises in cosmetic dentistry, The Dental Room was recognised as a Platinum Invisalign® Provider (2019).
