Founder of The Dental Room, Shawn has 20 years of experience in dentistry. While life may not be perfect, Shawn believes that your smile can be, and he is committed to continuous study and training to provide an unparalleled level of care to his patients. Shawn gives each and every case his full attention to guarantee a tailored experience to all clientele, from Invisalign to restorative dentistry. When he isn’t designing perfect smiles, you can find Shawn staying active or traveling.
Chloe is a third generation ceramist after following in the footsteps of her father and grandfather. With more than a decade of experience, Chloe specialises in full mouth reconstruction and partners with Dr Shawn on each and every case through her own dental venture, Luminous Dental Lab. Dedicated to construction smiles clients will love, Chloe takes facial features and personality into consideration to create natural-looking smiles. Chloe is fluent in English and Korean.
Dr Niusha Ravadgar graduated from University of Melbourne’s Doctor of Dental surgery program. Prior to this she studied Bachelor of Pharmacy at Monash University so she has an extensive background in both dentistry and pharmacy.
Dr Niusha has a calm and gentle approach to dentistry, prioritising the comfort of her clients first and foremost. She has a client centred approach, closely involving her clients in the process so that the final treatment plan suits her clients as a unique individual. She has a special interest in the management of dental pain (root canals) and restorative dentistry. Dr Niusha also works at the University of Melbourne where she teaches students in the area of endodontics (root canal treatments).
Outside of dentistry she loves cooking and trying out new recipes – especially baking all things Nutella inspired.
With a Masters of Dentistry from La Trobe University already completed, Dr Emily Pow is always eager to learn and is currently undergoing further study to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics.
Her passion for orthodontics - providing clear aligners and fixed braces - sparked when her self-confidence boosted after her own smile transformation through orthodontics. Now she is doing the same for others! Her calm and empathetic approach makes her particularly popular with kids and families.
Outside of The Dental Room, she co-hosts a podcast called ‘Dental Central’, loves eating her way through Melbourne’s vast array of delicious restaurants and spending time with her 2-year old cavoodle named Chino.
Dominika is an oral health therapist at The Dental Room. She came to Australia as a teenager from Poland and completed a Bachelor of Oral Health at Charles Sturt University. “Seeing satisfied and happy clients is what motivates me to do my job. I believe building strong connections with clients is what makes this job so rewarding. I provide the clients with highest level of care, while being gentle in doing so.”
Dominika is a lively and outgoing person who loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.
